Prince William’s Secret cottage
Yes you heard it right… this secret home was received by duke of Cambridge as a gift from his great- grandmother the Queen Mother. The first pictures of this secret home were disclosed recently.
According to a report by My London News this astonishing three bed-room cottage near Balmoral Estate called Tam-Na-Ghar was gifted to Prince William from Queen Elizabeth’s mother right before her death in 2002, and this home which issituated near to future King Prince Charles’ home in Birkhall is reported to be the third secret home of Prince William and Kate Middleton.
The report further said that some “happiest and memorable times” of Prince William and Kate Middleton’s dating life were spent in this beautiful home.
The beautiful royal couple also spent a summer holiday at the secret cottage with their three children Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louise in 2019.

Prince George (2013) and Princess Charlotte (2015) who have recently celebrated their 9th and 7th birthday respectively use a different in fact a short name at school. Prince George’s full name is George Alexander Louise and his official title is His Royal Highness Prince George of Cambridge. Similarly Princess Charlotte’s full name is Charlotte Eilzabeth Diana and her official title is Her Royal Highness Princess Charlotte of Cambridge. But in school they are simply known as George Cambridge and Charlotte Cambridge.
Royal family members usually hide their identity and royal titles to enjoy their childhood and school as normal children and be friends with them in a traditional way. They avoid patronages and special protocol around school so that the fellow children around them may not feel inferior.
Prince William and Prince Harry also did the same at their school time. They used Charles’ title, “Wales” as their surname and enjoyed a normal childhood. They used the same name as in school throughout their military careers as well.
Prince George and Princess Charlotte’s younger brother who is four years old will alsojoin school next month and he too is going to use a different and short school name. Currently as schools are off due to summer, the three cute munchkins are enjoying summer holidays with their parents, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.
For holidays the royal family has chose to stay at their Anmer Hall residence in Norfolk. These holidays spent with family close to nature would allow them to enjoy a “sense of normality” ahead of a “ significant amount of changes” as said by Ms Nichole.
