Victoria’s Secret Angel Candice Swanepoel has two children with her partner Hermann Nicoli. On Tuesday, she announced that she was ready for a workout to join the annual fashion show. The 30-year-old IMG model posted a gym selfie showing her 5ft10in post-baby body.
She has 13.9M followers on social media and she boasts to her followers by posting her selfie video with a caption: ‘After having two babies, I’m again here to feel strong. I want to feel ‘normal’ again and for this purpose, I have to work hard. It’s very damaging for us to be a couch potato or to shape our body like a vessel.’
The lingerie model wrote over Insta-story: ‘Every mother went through this kind of imperfection. All mothers must give themselves time to recover. The main thing that matters is to feel good, not to look good. I’m a working lady and it’s my job to look presentable otherwise I would probably not look in the mirror.’
Candice continued: ‘I don’t have words to describe how proud I am of my body. It gives me an amazing career and two baby boys. Now, I’m again ready to put myself out there. This time I’m not doing it for myself, but for all the mothers out there working and taking care of their babies. To be a mother doesn’t mean that now you have no right to feel good, beautiful, and powerful. You deserve to look stunning and sexy AF.’
Her fellow VS. Angel Behati Prinsloo has two daughters with her husband Adam Levine. Candice Swanepoel shared her experience: ‘After having two baby girls, I was afraid of doing the Victoria’s Secret Show. To do this, the show was just like a dream for me. But my body pushes me to become stronger and healthier than ever with two beautiful baby girls.’
Candice said that she is in love with the words of her fellow VS. Angel and feels proud to have a woman like her.
The Women, Management model landed in Manhattan on Wednesday, showing the face of her four-month-old son Ariel on her Insta-story. She said ‘Good morning NYC!’ to her fans and followers.
The South African stunners will also walk in the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show Holiday Special which is going to air on December 2 on ABC. They both earned their wings in 2009 and 2010. The other guests that are coming to join the show are Leela James, Bebe Rexha, Shawn Mendes, Kelsea Ballerini, and Halsey.
Swanepoel met her 36-year-old fiancé Brazilian in 2005 when she was on assignment in Paris. They started their decade long romance when she was 17 and he was 23-year-old. Swanepoel is going to drop the resort collection for her brand. She founded her eco-conscious swimwear brand ‘Tropic of C’ in February.
The blonde bombshell has a two-year-old son named as Anaca. In an interview to Vogue on October 19, she said that she is not sleeping for ‘two years’ because of her baby. She also lamented about her crazy veins from breastfeeding.
