Ashley Darby described that people used to call her a ‘gold digger’ due to her marriage to a man double of age.
Ashley tied the knots with her millionaire husband Michael, 62, seven years ago. He is a real estate developer and 29-years-older than Ashley. Due to this age gap between a millionaire and his wife, people still call Ashley a gold digger.
In an interview for Shine It Up, she said: ‘People repeat this thing so many times that I get used to it.’

In August, she told Daily Mail Australia: ‘I was more conscious about what to look for this time, so I planned to avoid those things which depressed me in the case of Dean. We always learn from experiences. My first experience was not good enough, but it helped me a lot to get ready for Dylan.’

Michael and his ex-wife had two children together. In 2010, Michael divorced his first wife after 20 years of marriage and started dating Ashley.
The Melbourne-born businessman Michael met former pageant contestant Ashley in 2011. Ashley was working as a bartender in a lounge in Washington, D.C. The lounge was co-owned by Michael.
He proposed to her on a helicopter ride in 2012. The couple tied the knots in 2014.
